Gallo d’Alba is situated on the old road for Barolo, arriving from Alba. It isa little centre dominated by the imposing Castle of Grinzane Cavour. The oenotheca called "Al Tartufo d’Oro" ( to the golden Truffle) has been working for 17 years in this small villageIt’s the first centre of the taste born in the area of Alba.It presents the typical products of Langa ,Roero and Monferrato. Here you can find the typical products of Langa, Roero and Monferrato. There are a lot of oenogastronomical specialities: from the big names of the Piedmontese oenology to the little wine producers. Famous grappas, sweets produced by famous confectioners, jams and stewed fruits, salamis made in the country, big D.O.P. cheeses, delicious truffled specialities and the swee-smelling white truffles of Alba.
