THE GOLDSMITH MUSEUM
Talking about Valenza means talking
about goldsmith and today the permanent Goldsmith Museum can be visited
to discover the history and the art of the
Valenza unique technique.
An
operator of the sector can also participate at the Fair that, for nearly
sixty year, has been organised in one of the worldwide leading cities in
this market.
Organized by the Associazione Orafa Valenzana in 1945 to relaunch the
business and, since then, to boost the trade and promote the competence
and the production of the city, the Fair takes place in an ad-hoc
structure: the two events (in March and in October) are certainly the
most important moments of the activity of the association that is
continuous, though, both in Italy and abroad, in the institutional
centres and in the marketplace so as to support the originality and the
industriousness of local craftsmen.
